City institute to boost small enterprises

City-based Institute of Management and Information Science plans to be a partner in the ongoing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) initiatives in the state by supporting creation of small business.

This was revealed at a seminar organised by the institute here on Wednesday. The institute developed a model that works in tandem with the public private initiatives for development fo small business. Additional secretary, Industries Department D.P. Mohapatra called upon the institute to tie up with banks to start an entrepreneurship development institute ib the state. Niraj kumar of XIMB, secretary of IMIS H.K. Patnaik, advisor K.K. Beuria and director K.C. Padhy spoke.
