State to be felicitated for ICT

Bhubaneswar, 13 April 2007:Energy Minister S. N. Patro said on Thursday that the state would be felicitated by the centre for implementation of information communication technology (ICT) in several sectors. Speaking at the workshop "capacity building for small business in Orissa through ICT" organized by city-based Institute of management and information science (IMIS), he said e-governance initiative taken by the state had been widely appreciated.
