The Training & Placement Cell

The training & placement cell primarily focuses on three distinct functions. It helps not only to plan future career and the type of job opportunity but also the industry at large, who are seeking professionally trained managers. It is also vigilant about the shifts in job patterns due to changes in economic scenario.

Industrial Visit

Since we believe in collective impact on students' learning process, we often visit industrial units and companies whereby students have easy access as well as an unique opportunity to see and realize the work-floor in action and study critical physical processes. On completion of visits, we also encourage the students to discuss findings and to submit a concise report.

Summer Training

The summer training is an essential part of the curriculum of the business schools. IMIS offers 8 weeks summer training Program, which is essential and mandatory for the students, with emphasis on the following three objectives:

  • To have an effective exposure to the actual work situation of an organization leading to enhancement of various managerial skills.
  • To understand the organization profile in all functional aspects for having a systems approach.
  • To learn and understand the organization problems so as to sharpen their problem solving skills.

Final Placement

Placement is the grand .finale of assigning a new opening to a professionally qualified potential manager in an organization. Our education program and personality development efforts are tailor made to match the dynamically changing recruitment strategies and expectations of the potential employers.

We just not claim that we place our students, rather we create a niche for them in the job market. Thus the competitive job market, recession and saturated growth do not deter our students in snatching away the best job available their way. Confidence of our students wins over the confidence of the employers.
