Class Rooms
The classrooms are air-conditioned with a comfort sitting arrangement. The students have easy approach to the instructor and their friends for participation. The classrooms are fitted with audio systems, LCD, OHP and other modern teaching equipment.
Computer Cell
Adequate number of computers are available with the institute to cover the academic & organizational needs. The cable modem Internet facility is available and it is kept open for the students even beyond the academic hours to encourage them in acquiring advanced skills and knowledge in IT through the Internet. The computers are also available in the Hostel for student’s use. The lab is equipped to carry out research & consultancy assignments. Each student is given with an email id as "name@imis.ac.in" on the day of joining, and can avail email facility for ever.
Wi-Fi Campus
Today the whole of IMIS campus has Radio Linked Internet Broadband Connectivity through a Wi-Fi Network.
Library
The library has a rich collection of academic books, reference manuals, Journals, periodicals, etc., and is regularly replenished. It caters to the entire demand of students, consultants, research scholars and members of the IMIS Professional Association. The e-library has been set up within the Library reading hall. Computers with multimedia and headphone are available to view the video CDs.
Audio Visual
Audio visual aids are used in addition to the existing multimedia learning methodology to improve the learners' presentation skills, retention capabilities and rectification of mistakes. Apart from in-house development of video cassettes from seminars, workshops, guest lectures, etc., the Institute has a good collection of contemporary educational cassettes on many important subjects by teachers of eminent management schools.
Hostels
 The institute provides furnished residential accommodation for both girls and boys. Almost every student from outstation can avail such accommodation. But in the event of more applicants the preference will be given to those who come from the outside states. The residential arrangements are under the direct supervision of the Superintendent who is assisted by the Asst. Superintendent, to ensure smooth management. The students are required to abide by the rules of the hostel to maintain discipline at all times.
Sports & Recreation
 The institute provides an environment for the students to develop their personality and a good health. All facilities are available for indoor and outdoor sports. Institute organizes Yoga & meditation session for stress release and good health. |
