Achievements

• Positioned amongst Top 50 B-Schools in India (As per survey conducted by AIMA, CSR, Dalal Street 2011), the Institute of Management & Information Science has certainly become a name to reckon with.

• The institute is also ranked as A1 Category B-School by Indian Management (MAY-2011). Over the last one decade the institute has carved a unique identity for itself in the arena of management education in the country.

• Centre for Training & Consultancy of IMIS provides a broad range of training and consulting services to businesses and organizations of all sizes. During the last academic year, the faculty members of the institute have conducted more than 40 training programs for different organizations, viz. Coca Cola, OTDC, LIC, Big Bazar, NTPC, NALCO, Prasar Bharati, PWC, Axis Bank, SBI, MSISI, Infosys, OMFED, IMFA, NACORD, NITTTR, NTPC, RCDC, NIC, Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Gandhi Labour Foundation, Orissa Mining Corp., Orissa Hydro Power Corp., etc. In addition, the institute conducted 3 FDPs successfully during 2010-11.

• During the last academic year, the institute conducted total 170 seminars, 2 workshops, 4 national seminars and one international seminar.

• The development wing of IMIS “International Resource Centre & Integrated Action (IRCIA)” bags the prestigious UNDP assignment for three states, viz., Rajasthan, Jharkhand & Orissa.

• IMIS has signed MOU with HDFC Bank, Reliance Money and Essar Mobile to prepare specialized manpower for the corporate.

• 78 companies offered final placements & 57 companies offered summer training in the year 2011.
